Outcome of Consultation on proposed changes to the CF Digital Asset Classification Structure (CF DACS) Methodology
The Administrator conducted a consultation concerning proposed changes to the following Sections of the CF Digital Asset Classification Structure (CF DACS) Methodology:
- Section 6.2 – CF Digital Asset Classification Structure and Section 6.2.2 – Examples
- Section 6.2.1 – CF DACS Definitions
There were no responses to this consultation, nor any queries regarding any aspect of the proposed changes.
The Administrator can now confirm it will implement the proposed changes to the CF DACS structure and CF DACS definitions.
Implementation Date
These changes will be implemented at 1100 London time on May 12th, 2023. All products dependent on CF DACS will utilise the new CF DACS structure and definitions from that date forward.
The CF Cryptocurrency Index Family Oversight Function oversaw this methodology change consultation process.

Announcement of Consultation on Changes to the CF ETH Staking Reward Rate Index Methodology
Under the proposed change, the Administrator will publicly disclose the average commission fee quoted by the four Providers, and the Index will be calculated net of the average fee, rather than using each Provider’s individual fee.

Renewed weakness across markets saw digital assets fall sharply again in the past week, with Bitcoin, −5.6% and Ether, −3.4 %, leading broad declines. Bitcoin implied and realized volatility were both firmly higher, while BTC and USDT funding curves compressed.
