The Administrator announces the suspension of Kiln as a CF Constituent Staking Provider for the CF Staking Series – CF ETH Staking Reward Rate Index (ETH_SRR) and related indices, effective September 11th, 2025,
Kiln’s API was unavailable on September 9th and September 10th, resulting in its rates being absent from ETH_SRR index calculations for those dates.
The impacted CF ETH Staking indices are as follows:
On September 8, 2025, Kiln reported a vulnerability incident. As part of its response, Kiln initiated the orderly exit of all of its Ethereum validators. Given the uncertainty over when the incident will be resolved, and the risk of inaccurate data being reflected in the ETH Staking Reward Rate, the Administrator has determined that it is appropriate to suspend Kiln’s participation as a Constituent Staking Provider.
This suspension is indefinite and will remain in place until further notice.
The suspension will take effect at approximately 11:00 am London Time on September 11th, 2025. The process has been conducted under the supervision of the CF Cryptocurrency Index Family Oversight Function.

Digital assets closed broadly higher despite a hot payrolls print reviving Fed rate-hike bets. Volatility drifted modestly higher, an infrastructure token stood out well beyond the rest of the market, and attention now turns to the coming inflation print for the Fed's next move.

Downside Beta moved from last place to first this week, gaining 3.2% as Size gave back its lead to -0.9% and the Market cooled to +1.2% after an 11.2% run. The swing narrowed the factor spread to 4.3 points from 15.8 the week before, a rotation toward defense inside an otherwise positive market.
