REX-Osprey launches REX-Osprey DOGE ETF (DOJE), first US Dogecoin ETF

REX-Osprey DOGE ETF (DOJE) brings meme-coin culture to Wall Street, in an institutional-grade ETF wrapper

DOGE comes to Wall Street

CF Benchmarks congratulates REX-Osprey on the launch of the REX-Osprey DOGE ETF (Ticker: DOJE), the first U.S. exchange-traded meme coin ETF, providing investors with convenient and transparent access to the popular Dogecoin (DOGE) cryptocurrency within the regulated and familiar ETF wrapper.

Powered by CF Benchmarks

We are delighted to confirm that REX-Osprey has selected another CF Benchmarks index as the reference price for one of its newest ETFs, in this case, our CF Dogecoin-Dollar US Settlement Price (DOGEUSD_NY). DOGEUSD_NY provides the same regulated and transparent, rules-based standards of replicability, market representativeness, and manipulation resistance offered by all CF Benchmarks indices, regardless of the asset.

Key features

First mover

DOJE, which listed today on the Cboe BZH exchange, is registered under the 1940 Investment Company Act and incorporated using a Cayman Subsidiary, a common ETF structure with no additional costs to investors, enabling streamlined handling of crypto exposure.

These structures have enabled REX-Osprey to secure relatively expedited authorization for DOJE, thereby empowering investors with accelerated access to this sought-after asset for the first time.

Objective

The fund will generally invest the majority of its net assets directly in Dogecoin as well as assets that provide exposure to Dogecoin.

US-traded

Meanwhile, DOJE trades on U.S. exchanges, meaning it is fully eligible for and easily accessible by institutional allocators, RIAs and any investor seeking digital asset exposure, combined with regulatory safeguards and clarity.

Institutional use cases

These features make the REX-Osprey DOGE ETF ideal for institutional use cases:

  • Portfolio managers: DOJE is the ideal product for investment managers seeking compliant, efficient Dogecoin exposure via standard brokerage transactions, with no wallets or direct blockchain management required
  • Liquidity providers: Trading firms mandated to source DOGE, offset Dogecoin risk, or who are seeking to exploit arbitrage or margin opportunities, now have an additional vehicle to do so that is underpinned by a regulated reference rate (DOGEUSD_NY) and operational transparency
  • Advisory solutions: Wealth managers and RIAs supporting client crypto allocations can now offer direct Dogecoin protocol exposure, backed with the assurance of the most robust risk controls

About Dogecoin

Origins, size, usage, architecture

Despite being widely judged solely on its meme coin characteristics, Dogecoin, has quickly built up a strong and loyal community following since its creation in 2013, partly based on the persisting appeal of its viral “Shiba Inu Doge” meme.

With a free-floating market capitalization of over $40 billion, and a circulating supply of approximately 151 billion DOGE, Dogecoin ranks among the world’s top ten cryptocurrencies.

Consistent usage patterns have emerged for the token, including tipping, microtransactions, charitable donations, and numerous integrations into social and gaming apps, among other online uses.

Dogecoin is a layer-1 proof-of-work (PoW) blockchain. It is continually maintained and regularly updated amid ongoing development programs.

Adoption

High-profile endorsements (e.g., by Elon Musk) have amplified DOGE’s visibility. Despite its memetic origins, DOGE maintains active liquidity on major venues and is accepted by many merchants and payment processors. Such characteristics have underpinned its role as a functional medium of exchange and an entry point for retail engagement with crypto.

Conclusion

Underpinned by the combination of CF Benchmarks’ rules-based, transparent and regulated benchmark methodology, and REX-Osprey’s specialist expertise in bridging cryptocurrencies to traditional markets, the REX-Osprey Dogecoin ETF (DOJE) is the ideal product for delivering convenient and safe DOGE exposure to mainstream institutional and consumer demand.

Factor Friday - April 10, 2026

The market posted its strongest week of 2026 at +7.1%. However, factor breadth was notably thin. Size was the only non-market factor to finish positive at +1.3%, while growth and value lagged, suggesting the rally was driven by directional flows rather than fundamentals.
