CME CF Emerging Crypto Index - New York Variant

The CME CF Emerging Crypto Index - New York Variant is a liquid, investible benchmark portfolio index designed to capture emerging leaders and structurally important disruptors across the digital asset ecosystem. By excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, the index offers exposure to tokens demonstrating growing adoption and strengthening blockchain network fundamentals, beyond the two largest assets. The index seeks to capture the 10 largest digital assets by full market capitalisation within the CME CF Investible Universe as its constituents, excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum. Index constituents are weighted using free-float market capitalization in accordance with the CF Digital Asset Index Family – Multi Asset Series Ground Rules and the CME CF Emerging Crypto Index Methodology. The index is calculated and published once a day at 4:00pm New York Time. The index is re-constituted and rebalanced semi-annually, on the first business day of June and December. The CME CF Emerging Crypto Index - New York Variant was incepted on June 1st 2026 with a value of 1,000. The index was launched on August 31st 2026. All values prior to the inception date are backtested. The index is denominated in USD.
