The Nasdaq Crypto Index (NCI) is calculated in real time 24/7 and designed to measure the performance of a significant portion of the digital asset market and to provide a benchmark for institutional investment in this new and emerging asset class. The index is specifically designed to be dynamic in nature, broadly representative of the market, and readily trackable by investors.

The NCIS Index launched on February 2, 2021. The index has a base value of 1000 as of December 1, 2020. All index values prior to February 2, 2021, are back-tested.
