As a fully remote company, none of our employees are required to commute to an office. Thus, the carbon footprint of CF Benchmarks is lower than many of our competitors. We are aware of the concerns relating to the energy-intensive nature of cryptocurrencies. In response to this, an important goal of our parent company, Payward, is to help the mining community find, source and utilize renewable sources of energy to lower the need for the existing carbon-based energy infrastructure. Where we can, we help miners find wind, solar, hydroelectric, nuclear and other clean sources of energy to power their technologies.

Engaging in charitable giving for the benefit of our local communities is something we are extremely proud of. Our efforts fall into multiple categories including education, innovation and altruism. Since the start of 2021, as part of the wider Payward group of companies, we have donated nearly $11 million to good causes. As an advocate for the rapidly evolving financial services ecosystem, we believe that cryptocurrencies will empower financial freedom for everyone around the world. In support of this, we have invested in different projects to drive education across digital asset technologies.

Our people are at the forefront of everything we do. Since being established, it’s been the mission of our founder, Jesse Powell to ensure social responsibility is an underlying principle that every one of our team members lives and breathes, every day. We encourage diversity and inclusion, and protect the health and wellbeing of our staff as we did during the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, security is a core principle of our business. From top to bottom, all employees are educated about cyber security and provided with the tools and training needed to ensure the protection of our client’s assets.
